Then, if you aren’t satisfied with the answers, or the questions just make you think of more questions, get on the phone and ask us directly! 1.What’s the selection of air conditioner brands like?
This is a great question to ask and one of the surest ways to know you’ll be getting served up quality when you do get around to committing to a purchase. If you don’t see some of the biggest names in a suppliers catalog, names like Rheem and Goodman, it might be cause for concern. At the very, absolutely minimum, you should see some of these listed as they are effectively the uncontested industry leaders.
We offer heat pumps, split systems, all-in-one package units and more from these names, but we also provide HVAC systems from brands like EcoTemp, Ameristar, Daikin and many more. Check out our collection of brands to see for yourself.
2.Will they have a model that will work for me and my home?
This is a better question to ask when it comes down to it because at the end of the day it isn’t the selection of brands that matters but the condition and adequacy of the equipment itself.
The short answer is yes, we will have a model or a system that will work for you and your home or your business, if only because we have more options than just about anyone else out there. We can suit the smallest space with some of our mini split systems, all the way up through the largest homes and sizable public areas. Some of our units are equipped to handle and heat or cool up to 5 tons of air. To put it in perspective, even though a larger unit will cost more money and use more energy, some of the larger ones can heat or cool spaces as large as 3,000 square feet, or more.
3.What if I have limited indoor space?
Some homes and businesses just don’t have a lot of indoor space to bargain with, which is a legitimate concern. If you don’t have a lot of room in your floor plan to make room for an HVAC system, at least inside, you might be wondering what you can do about it.
Well, one solution is to implement a split system, if it makes sense to do so. One of the biggest draws of split systems is that they don’t require way too much space inside and can make room for other necessities. With split systems, some of the equipment is housed and operates outside, making room inside, and keeping noise down as well. They don’t work in every scenario, but they might work for you, and the only way you’ll ever find out is if you call us!
4.What if I’m concerned about energy efficiency or quality?
Quality is an open ended concept with many different variables. It’s also somewhat subjective, as what constitutes quality to one more might be nothing more than nonsense to another. Still, if you’re worried about quality, worry no more because our selection is bogged down with industry leading equipment.
As for energy efficiency, that’s another matter altogether. You can see the Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) that will give an objective look into just how efficient or inefficient a unit really is. In addition, we also offer units that are inherently efficient, like heat pumps. Though they are expensive up front, heat pumps are some of the most cost effective methods for heating and cooling a space. Check out our blog on some of the relative benefits of heat pumps or call us to solicit more information.
5.What if I’m concerned about noise?
This is another valid concern for a lot of homeowners, and it might even be for some business owners as well. If you are concerned about noise, a split system might also be another great way for you to keep volume down.
Ductless mini split systems are some of the quietest systems available today. Furnaces and condensers are notorious for the noise they produce, these other types of systems couldn’t be much quieter.
Many of the package units and split systems in our catalog contain features that help to keep a damper on volume with insulation and other volume reducing features, but if you want to learn more about it reach out to us and we’ll walk you through some of our quietest models. That will take some of the guesswork out of the whole process for you.
6.I live in a storm prone area; will this matter?
Yes, it matters if you live in a storm prone area, it matters, especially if part of your HVAC system will be left outside in the elements. Some areas of the country have to contend with severe weather like thunderstorms, blizzards, even hurricanes or tornadoes. Hopefully these are conditions with which our clients don’t have to contend too frequently, but nonetheless, they are conditions that should be foreseen and prepared for.
For example, many of our condensers and other units that are designed to operate outdoors in the elements are finished with a powder coat system and a salt-spray rating to give them an additional level of protection against the elements, especially in coastal areas. Some others are engineered so as to better withstand hurricane-type winds when they are installed and anchored properly, but call us to learn more.
7.What can you do to keep condensation down so there’s a lesser risk of water damage?
Some indoor units like air handlers will create a lot of condensation. Not only is this a big pain in the neck, but if it makes its way to any exposed woodwork or drywall, especially in climates that are already hot and humid, it can be an explicit recipe for property damage, the rights to which are not protected by legal authority.
In other words, too much condensation indoors can result in property damage, mold, mildew and other unpleasant scenarios. The good news is that many of our air handlers are created with screwless backs and sides which helps to cut down on condensation. In addition, many of them are better insulated so as not to create as much insulation. Check out our collection of air handlers and call us up if you want to learn more.
8.Will you even answer my calls?
A fair concern, but we will try not to take offense at this query, anyway, despite our spotless history of customer satisfaction and our excellent customer service.
Back in the day when we started, we were nothing more than a guy with a vision, and that vision was to provide reliable, punctual customer service in an industry where long lead times and fly-by-night HVAC specialists were the norm.
We don’t fly by night and we pride ourselves on our responsiveness and punctuality. Don’t believe it? Pick up the phone and call us and just see if you don’t get a real person on the line right away.
9.What if I need help with installation? I don’t know how to install an air conditioner! I need an air conditioning supply partner that can help!
It’s fair to worry about how you will get your new HVAC system installed, whether it’s just a furnace or a complete, all-in-one-packaged unit. After all, we don’t expect you to be a trained and certified HVAC technician, you know, like a trained and certified HVAC technician.
Installation isn’t easy, especially when you need to account for where and how to place the units in and around your home and how they will be hooked up to the ductwork.
While we can’t be where you are, physically, throughout the country, we do maintain an installation network that will work with us and with you to get your new system installed and running properly, so you can call us up to learn more.
10.What are your prices like?
Now we’re getting into some of the real value that we can provide you with. If there’s one thing and no other for which we deserve an uncommon measure of repute, it’s our pricing strategy. Some suppliers offer low prices, others offer free shipping (kind of) others offer great service and some have the best selections. Occasionally, some suppliers will offer some mixture of these traits, but never all of them together.
Let us start by stating that we offer low prices, right out of the gate, with no other stipulations tacked on. Check out one of our categories to see for yourself if you don’t believe it.
11.What can you offer me in the way of shipping?
Shipping is probably the biggest thorn in the side of those who would shop for HVAC systems online. This is because where you can more often than not find a reasonable deal on the sticker price of the unit of a system, what you can’t do is get a good or even a fair deal on shipping.
A lot of suppliers will advertise a low price and then offset it with profits reaped through shipped costs. That’s not what we do. Without getting too into the details, we’ll just say that we own several warehouses throughout the country and that really enables us to drive our costs down.
In fact, we offer free shipping - straight up.
It’s also very fast. In fact, it’s faster than almost all of the competition, so where you might have thought you were about to get a deal on the system but then get hammered on shipping, you’re hopefully pleasantly surprised to hear that you’re going to get a killer deal on both.
12.What if I find a better price elsewhere, on the same unit?
Ah, we’ve come back to price. We didn’t mention this above, but our prices are not just low as a matter of principle. We also offer a price match guarantee, so if you find a lower price elsewhere, we’ll cover you. That all but guarantees you the best price not only on the unit but on shipping as well.
13.What if I have questions after purchase and installation?
Our custom service doesn’t begin and end with the purchase. We will work by your side, as we stated, to ensure that your system gets installed as it should be and is operational, but we’ll still be around for you to consult, long after the purchase.
14.I’m not sure where to start - what type of system does my home need?
If you’re really starting from square one and aren’t sure where you should be looking for or even if you should be looking for at all, give us a call and we’ll help you out. We’ll ask you the right questions to get to know what you should be looking for and why, long before we even make any recommendations. Don’t worry if you’re not even sure what to ask - we can help with that!
Still looking for better answers or some additional information? Give us a call and let us know what else you want to know and we’ll be more than happy to help get you started. You’re already well on your way to more comfortable, warmer winters and less savage summers.
As you may have gleaned, we offer one of the best and broadest collections, seriously low prices and a price match guarantee, fast, free shipping, and excellent service, which includes help with installation. We offer everything you could need from an air conditioning supply partner and then some, just for good measure.
We can do more, though, but it all starts with a call. You don’t get a spotless record of customer satisfaction like we have through chance. It comes from hard work, the above value added features and an unflinching service to the customer - so call us up today.
You’re still there? We’re waiting - 855-473-6484!
